Sandra E Reznik, MD, PhD, is Section Director, Perinatal Pathology and Associate Professor, Pathology and Obstetrics & Gynecology and Women's Health at Montefiore Einstein. Her clinical focus is on pathology specimens related to pregnancy, such as placentas and products of conception and perinatal autopsies. After obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in biology at Harvard University in 1984, Dr Reznik earned her Doctor of Medicine and Doctor of Philosophy in pharmacology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 1991. She completed her residency in anatomic pathology at Cornell University Medical Center in 1994, where she was House Officer until her final year, in which she became Chief Resident.
