Dr Renee Huang's extensive experience and research in using laparoscopic surgical techniques to treat rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, and other serious gastrointestinal conditions greatly expands the Montefiore's surgical team's ability to used advanced technologies to care for our patients. Dr Huang, who joins our team from Barnabas Health Medical Group, where she was an attending physician in their colon and rectal diseases practice, has led and co-led numerous clinical research studies on the use of laparoscopic techniques.
