Menhel Kinno, MD, MPH, is a cardiologist at Rush. He earned his degree at the University of Baghdad College of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine at University of Massachusetts Medical Center. He completed fellowships in cardiovascular disease at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and in advanced cardiac imaging at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University.
Kinno specializes in advanced cardiac imaging, including cardiac magnetic resonance, cardiac CT scan and echocardiography. He has extensive expertise in evaluating and managing valvular heart disease, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and infiltrative cardiomyopathies, such as cardiac amyloidosis.
Because heart and vascular conditions can affect every patient differently, Kinno believes the key to successful treatment is to develop customized care plans according to each patient's needs.
In his spare time, he enjoys cooking and exploring different cuisines. He also loves to travel with his family and visit different parts of the world.
