Dr Ghobrial is the Senior Vice President for Experimental Medicine, Director of the Center for Early Detection and Interception of Blood Cancers, Co-Leader of the Lymphoma/Myeloma Cancer Center Program, Lavine Family Chair for Preventative Cancer Therapies, Director of the Ghobrial Lab, and Professor of Medicine at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School. Her research focuses on precursor conditions of multiple myeloma, aiming to understand genetic, epigenetic, and immune mechanisms of disease progression, identify novel biomarkers, and develop therapies to eliminate disease before progression. She has led 15+ clinical trials in Waldenstrom macroglobulinemia and multiple myeloma precursor conditions.
