Emily Murphy, MD is a clinical instructor of Dermatology and serves as the director of the Vulvar Health Program at GW. Emily Murphy attended college at Cornell University, majoring in Human Biology, Health, and Society, before earning a medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine. During medical school, Dr Murphy completed a one-year research fellowship at George Washington University in both basic science and clinical research, during which she published articles on a range of topics, including wound healing, psoriasis, and squamous cell carcinogenesis. She completed her dermatology residency at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, serving as chief resident in her final year.
