Dr. Hott is a board-certified, fellowship-trained neurosurgeon who specializes in the treatment of all conditions of the spine. He is a graduate with distinction from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and went on to earn his medical degree from the Wayne State University School of Medicine. After his second year of medical school, Dr. Hott was selected to complete a one-year research fellowship as a Howard Hughes research scholar at the National Institute of Health. He was rewarded a full scholarship as a result of his work for his remaining years of medical school. He then conducted his general surgery internship at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center.
