In pediatrics, we focus a lot on preventive healthcare. I strive to empower my patient families with the knowledge they need to raise healthy, happy children. I encourage questions and prioritize being an active listener.
As an active participant in my field, I am a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the North Carolina Pediatric Society.
Outside of the office, you might find me engaging in activities such as yoga, dancing and walking my dog. I'm a mother to two college-aged sons and love spending time with them, friends and the rest of my family.

My passion for medicine stemmed from my love of helping others. I chose pediatrics due to my deep love for children.
