My patients often tell me they appreciate my ability to listen. Really listening is truly important in all aspects of life, but it's especially so in healthcare. As a provider, I need to be able to listen to patients and parents in order to understand their concerns and help them achieve optimal health. They know themselves - or their child - best.
In my spare time, I enjoy lifting weights and learning, through reading and real-world experience, about a wide range of topics.

My mother was a CNA (certified nursing assistant), and as a child I sometimes had the opportunity to meet her patients. They were always so grateful to her and would praise her for all the support she provided. I was proud of how they admired my mom, and her skill and compassion. I wanted to be able to provide the same.My patients often tell me they appreciate my ability to listen.
