A knee injury suffered on the soccer field piqued my interest in becoming a physical therapist. I started as a volunteer in a local clinic at age 14 and worked as an aide throughout high school and college. In all, I have been active in the profession for more than 30 years, and I still love coming to work each day. I am a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. I am trained to assess and treat problems originating in the spine, extremity joints, muscles and tendons. With a special certification called LSVT BIG, I can offer evidence-based treatments for people with Parkinson's disease and related neurological conditions. I also hold kinesiology taping certification, which has equipped me to help athletes and others use kinesiology tape to enhance performance and prevent injuries. I believe in treating the whole person. I take time to get to know my patients personally so we can tailor your treatment to meet your needs. Whether your goal is to care for a loved one, put on your own shoes or return to your preferred exercise, you and I will work together as you move toward your goals. In my spare time, I love getting outdoors. I especially enjoy hiking, backpacking and kayaking.
