My approach to working with patients is to educate and guide them to make the best healthcare decisions for themselves. I feel it's my job to give patients as much information as I can and share my own perspectives to help them choose what's right for them. Every woman is different, and I honor my patients' individuality by tailoring a plan just for them.
I'm originally from eastern North Carolina and moved to the coast for my medical training and knew this is where I wanted to make my home. I enjoy taking care of the women in our corner of North Carolina.
I am married and have two teenage daughters. My biggest passion in life - outside my work as an OB/GYN - is raising strong, intelligent and independent young women. In my free time, I love spending time with my family. I also enjoy boating, photography and painting.
