Matthew F Muldoon, MD, is a hypertension specialist and is certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is the founding director of the Hypertension Center at the UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute. Dr Muldoon received his medical degree from the Abraham Lincoln School of Medicine in Chicago. He completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in clinical pharmacology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, followed by a master’s degree in epidemiology at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health. Dr Muldoon lives in Shadyside with his wife, remains active in the lives of his three sons and grandchildren, and enjoys outdoor activities in the Laurel Highlands.
