Jos� Pedro da Silva, MD, is surgical director of the Da Silva Center for Ebstein's Anomaly within the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at UPMC Children�s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Dr Da Silva Center is dedicated to the care of children and adults with congenital heart defects that involve absent or poorly functioning heart valves. He received his medical degree from the Instituto de Assist�ncia M�dica ao Servidor P�blico Estadual in Sao Paulo, Brazil, after which he completed residencies in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery and general surgery there. He then went on to complete an additional residency in cardiothoracic surgery as well as a fellowship in cardiovascular surgery at the Cleveland Clinic.
