Julia Piwoz, MD, is Director, Pediatric Antimicrobial Stewardship and Medical Director, Congenital Cytomegalovirus (CMV) Infectious Diseases Specialty Care Center at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein and Associate Professor, Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr Piwoz’s clinical focus includes congenital infections, including CMV, as well as both inpatient and outpatient antimicrobial stewardship. After earning her Doctor of Medicine from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in 1991, Dr Piwoz completed her pediatric residency at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 1994.
