Justin Martello, MD, FAAN, is chief of neurology for the Central Maryland region of MedStar Health. He is a fellowship-trained, board-certified neurologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of movement disorders, such as tremors, tics, dystonia, ataxia, or Parkinson's Disease. Dr Martello is the only neurologist in the country trained to perform MRI-guided focused ultrasound without neurosurgical involvement. This innovative new procedure uses ultrasound waves to treat patients suffering from Parkinson’s Disease and essential tremors. He sees patients at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center in Rosedale near Baltimore, in addition to Bel Air and MedStar Union Memorial Hospital.
