Dr. Chobanian was my son's first nephrologist. Very caring, understanding and compassionate doctor in his field. Gave us (parents) answers to our questions. As parents, we researched our son's kidney disease and became quite knowledgeable of our son's medical status, and through Dr. Chobanian we felt comfortable and secure knowing how the future might unfold. This gave us the strength to emotionally handle our son's devastating kidney disease. He told us how the disease could be managed and controlled, as much as possible. We have followed his advice and it has greatly benefited our son's health to date. My son turned 18 yrs old and had to move on to an adult nephrologist. We wished Dr. Chobanian could have remained our son's nephrologist through time but he is a pediatric nephrologist. My son is now 30 yrs old and to this day, my husband and I still discuss the visits we had with Dr. Chobanian's and we still follow his advice he gave us to this day.
