After working full time for 40 Plus years I am at that point where accumulated frustration wih the work place is takin a toll on my mind and body and ..... The work place is really hostile to people today who care too much about what they do and how they do it. I have always led with my heart and had a passion for what I do. It is a cretive thing and a basic theme that i measured self worth by my work and my success at it. I fear that this is a passe' thing or anachromism in the oh so politically correct, E for effort work climate. I am very ready to get out and financially close to doing it. But need to finish a year, just one more year. And in that year I want to segue to a better an more balanced mental posture that leads to a lot more personal happiness and self worth and contentment. Leave behind the adenaline thrill model and work 20 hours a day stress response syndrome. Find a more centered way to live. And hopefully avoid that early death after retirement statistic. I am mad as hell at the corpoate world and all the darn lying, posturing, watered down skill difficent, lack of leadship and true caring. I need to shed that consumming fire to right the wrongs and fight the fight. Simply this pack of low dogs running business today give lip service to wellness and stress releif but cold bloodedly massacre work ethic, care, initiative and true skill, etc. Management is a substitute for leadership. I need to leave that disillusionment with the work place and find the moral equivalent but with self worth as the center theme.
