Health Tip: Recognize Symptoms of Diabetes

(HealthDay News) -- If you detect symptoms of diabetes early, you may be able to ward off serious complications.

The American Diabetes Association says common warning signs of diabetes include:

  • Increased thirst and urinating more than usual.
  • Extreme hunger, even while eating.
  • Increased fatigue.
  • Blurred vision.
  • Slower healing.
  • Weight loss, even if you've been eating more than usual.
  • Numbness, pain or tingling in the feet or hands.
