1 pound 93% lean ground beef
1 large green bell pepper, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
6 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tablespoon chili powder
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste
One 16-ounce jar gluten-free green taco sauce
1/4 cup water
One 15-ounce can kidney beans, rinsed
In a large saucepan, cook beef, bell pepper and onion over medium heat for 8-10 minutes.
Add garlic, chili powder, cumin, and cayenne pepper, cooking for 30 seconds. Add taco sauce and water, and bring to a simmer.
Reduce heat, cover, and cook 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add beans and cook 1-2 minutes until heated through. Serve immediately.
