3 cups oatmeal raisin cereal
2/3 cup finely diced dried apricots
1/2 cup slivered almonds, toasted
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
2/3 cup light corn syrup
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Line a baking pan with foil and coat with cooking spray. Mix the cereal, apricots, and almonds together and set aside.
In a heavy pot, heat the butter, corn syrup, brown sugar, and cinnamon to dissolve the sugar and bring the mixture to a boil.
Boil for 2 minutes until slightly thickened while stirring and remove from heat.
Combine the sugar mixture with the cereal and add to the prepared pan pan. Press the mixture firmly in pan and cool for 30 minutes before cutting or serving.
