Ingredients

  • 2 cups water

  • 16 ounce frozen mixed vegetables

  • 1/3 cup celery, sliced

  • 1/3 cup onion, diced

  • 1/4 cup margarine

  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 cups milk

  • 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 can creamed corn

  • Salt, to taste

  • Black pepper, to taste

Directions

  • Add the water, vegetables, celery, and onion to a large stockpot. Cook for 15 minutes and drain any excess water.

  • In a sauce pan add the margarine and blend with the flour. Slowly add the milk, corn, and cheese.

  • After the cheese is melted, add the cheese mixture into the large stockpot. Salt and pepper to taste.
