3/4 cup sugar
1/2 lemon, juiced
2 oranges
2 cups cranberries
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
Cloves, ground, to taste
Zest the oranges and discard the seeds and membrane. Use the zest and fruit only.
Mix the orange zest, sugar, and 3/4 cups water in a saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes.
Add the cranberries and cook for approximately 2 minutes until the cranberries start to pop.
Put the mixture into a food processor, add the orange fruit, lemon juice, cinnamon, and cloves and blend.
Refrigerate covered for 12 hours.
