1 tube refrigerated bread dough (whole wheat preferred)
Flour for rolling dough
1 cup low-sodium breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 cup cheese, Parmesan or Swiss, grated
Begin by preheating an oven to approximately 350 degrees F.
Dust a cutting board with flour and then place the bread dough on the cutting board. Mold the dough into a rectangle and spray it with cooking spray.
Place the crumbled sausage, grated cheese, and dried thyme on the bread dough and then gently roll the dough into a tube shape.
Slice the dough into pieces 1/2-inch thick and move them onto a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes or until the rolls appear golden.
