8-ounces light cream cheese, softened
8-ounces fat-free sour cream
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
8-ounces fat-free, non-dairy whipped topping
1 1/2 cups green seedless grapes
1 1/2 cups red seedless grapes
10–ounce jar maraschino cherries, well drained (reserve 4 for garnish)
11–ounce can mandarin oranges, well drained
16-ounce can sliced peaches, well drained
2 firm bananas, thinly sliced
1/2 cup lightly toasted slivered almonds
Add first four ingredients (cream cheese to almod extract) to a large mixing bowl and beat until smooth using an electric mixer. Add the whipped topping and continue to beat. Once mixture is smooth, fold in the remaining ingredients.
Spoon mixture into a 2-quart clear glass bowl or eight individual dessert dishes. Cover and place into the refrigerator to chill. Just before serving, garnish with the remaining cherries and slivered almonds.
