4 beefsteak tomatoes
1 pound fresh mozzarella cheese, thickly sliced
1 bunch basil leaves
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 cracked black pepper
Wash and slice the tomatoes thickly, about 1/2 inch in thickness, and arrange the slices in a concentric circle on a plate.
Tuck a slice of mozzarella and a clean basil leaf in between each tomato slice.
Drizzle the extra virgin olive oil over the top and sprinkle the sea salt and cracked black pepper to taste.
