10 pounds fully-cooked, bone-in ham
6 cups cola
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 tablespoon mustard powder
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 cups dried bread crumbs
Preheat an oven to 325°F.
Place the ham in a shallow baking dish, fat side down. Pour enough cola beverage into baking dish to cover the bottom of the dish.
Bake until the center of ham is 140°F on a meat thermometer (approximately 2-3 hours), basting the ham with cola every 15 minutes.
Remove the ham from the pan so that it can begin to cool. Increase the oven temperature to 375°F.
While the oven is heating, combine the brown sugar, mustard powder, mustard, and bread crumbs. Add enough cola to the mix to form a paste. Spread the paste on the warm ham.
Bake the ham for an additional 45 minutes or until the glaze is a dark color, basting ham with cola every 10 minutes.
Allow the ham to cool for 30 minutes before slicing.
