8 tablespoons kava root, powdered
32 ounces fruit juice of choice
Add the fruit juice into a blender. Add the powdered kava root and process on the lowest setting for 5 minutes. Allow the mixture to sit for another 5 minutes. Blend for an additional minute.
Pour the mixture through a double screen sifter into another container.
Clean the leftover root from the sifter.
Repeat the previous two steps until all the root has been removed from the mixture.
Drink mixture as is or over ice cubes.
