1/2 pound (about 18) fresh figs, quartered
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup sugar
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
2 cups skim milk
1/2 teaspoon grated orange zest
3/4 cup egg substitute
Preheat an oven to 375 degrees F.
Spray the inside of a 10-inch, deep dish pie plate with cooking spray and place the washed figs without the stems into the plate.
Combine the flour, salt, cloves, and sugar in a mixing bowl.
Slowly pour in the milk into the mixing bowl while continuously stirring. Add in the orange zest and egg substitute and stir.
Pour the mixing bowl contents evenly over the figs.
Bake for about 1 hour until set.
