4 ripe pears, cored and thinly sliced
1 tablespoon firmly packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon sliced almonds
1/2 cup low fat vanilla-flavored yogurt
Heat a broiler and put a broiler rack about 3-5 inches away from the heat source.
Place the pears in a flameproof dish and sprinkle with brown sugar. Broil for about 5 minutes, or until the brown sugar is caramelized and the pears are slightly brown.
Sprinkle the almonds on top and broil for another minute or until the almonds turn golden brown.
Place each pear in a serving dish and top with vanilla yogurt.
