1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
1 tablespoon dark sesame oil
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
1 tablespoon green onion, sliced
4 (6 ounce) fresh tuna steaks, about 1 inch thick, rinsed and patted dry
Combine all ingredients in a small bowl, excluding the tuna steaks.
Insert each tuna steak into a self-sealable plastic bag, add some marinade to each bag, and seal.
Set the bags in a shallow pan and refrigerate for 30 minutes, flipping the bags over at least once.
Lightly coat a grill rack with non-stick cooking spray.
Drain the tuna from the marinade. Discard the marinade.
Grill each steak for 10-12 minutes or until flaky. Turn each steak over once.
