Ingredients

  • 8 cloves of garlic, crushed

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  • 2 teaspoons oregano

  • 4 bone-in chicken breast halves, skinned

  • 4 lemons, thinly sliced

  • 16 black olives, pitted and sliced

Directions

  • Set an oven to 350°F.

  • Combine the garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and oregano in a bowl and stir.

  • Coat the chicken with this seasoning mixture.

  • Put a layer of lemon slices at the bottom of a 13x9-inch dish.

  • Lay the chicken breasts on top of the lemons.

  • Spread olives evenly in the dish.

  • Bake chicken for 45 minutes, or until no longer pink in the middle.
