1 pound skinless boneless chicken breast halves, cut into 1 inch cubes
16 button mushrooms
8 green onions, cut into 1 ½-inch pieces
4 firm ripe plums cut into wedges
¼ cup balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons canola oil
Alternately thread the chicken, mushrooms, green onions, and plums onto eight 12-inch skewers.
Mix the vinegar and oil in a small bowl and brush the mixture on the kabobs.
Place the skewers on a hot grill rack for 15 minutes, turning halfway through.
Transfer the skewers to platter and serve.
