1 large clove garlic
1 tablespoon coarse salt
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons lemon juice
2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
8 wedges lemon, for garnish
Heat a grill to a medium temperature.
Crush the garlic with salt in a bowl.
Add the cayenne pepper, paprika, olive oil, and lemon juice. Mix until it forms a paste.
Toss the shrimp with the garlic paste mixture until all of the shrimp are coated.
Brush oil on the grill grate.
Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until cooked.
Serve with lemon wedges.
