Ingredients

  • 1 celery stalk, chopped

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • ½ cup chopped mushrooms

  • 1 8-ounce can sliced water chestnuts, drained

  • 3 tablespoons minced parsley

  • 1 teaspoon dried sage

  • 1 ½ cups water

  • 1 8-ounce package herb seasoned stuffing mix

Directions

  • Preheat an oven to 350⁰F.

  • In a large saucepan, add the celery, onion, and mushrooms, stirring occasionally until softened. Stir in water chestnuts, parsley, sage, and water. Bring to a boil.

  • Remove from heat and stir in the stuffing mix. Transfer to a casserole dish and bake until crispy on top.
