2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
4 ounces linguine, cooked al dente
2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
1 tablespoon butter
1 thinly sliced green onion
1 cup light cream
2 tablespoons chopped sun-dried tomatoes
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguini and cook according to package instructions.
While the linguini is cooking, place the chicken in a bowl and add the Cajun seasoning. Toss to coat.
In a large skillet, add the butter and melt over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook about 4 minutes each side, or until tender.
Reduce heat to low and add green onion, sundried tomatoes, basil, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Toss with hot linguine and serve.
