1 pound spaghetti pasta
1/4 cup butter
1 pound medium shrimp, deveined and tails removed
6-8 garlic cloves, minced
Olive oil, 3 drizzles
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon salt
Boil the pasta in water until tender; save 1 cup of pasta water for use later. Drain and set aside.
Melt the butter over medium heat, then add the shrimp and garlic. Let the shrimp cook until slightly pink and it beginning to curl, about 5-7 minutes.
Add the olive oil and continue to cook until the shrimp is fully pink and curled.
Add the pasta, Italian seasoning, red pepper, and black pepper to the skillet with enough pasta water for desired consistency.
Toss the ingredients t until all are incorporated and hot. Serve immediately.
