Ingredients

  • 4 cups cold water

  • 2 cups apple cider

  • 1/2 cup maple syrup

  • 1/4 cup salt

  • 2 pork tenderloins (1 lb each)

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary leaves

  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper

  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions

  • In a large pot, stir the water, cider, maple syrup, and salt until the salt is dissolved.

  • Add the pork to the brine mixture. Cover and refrigerate 8-12 hours.

  • Heat a grill. Remove the pork from the brine and rinse thoroughly under cool running water; pat dry.

  • Sprinkle the pork with the chopped rosemary, pepper, and garlic powder.

  • Grill the port over medium heat for 20-30 minutes or until the pork is slightly pink in center and a meat thermometer inserted in the center reads 160°F.
