Ingredients

  • 2 slices whole grain bread

  • 2 tablespoons marinara sauce

  • 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese (low moisture, part skim)

  • 1 teaspoon shredded Parmesan cheese

  • Salt, to taste

  • Black pepper, to taste

Directions

  • On both slices of bread, place one tablespoon of marinara sauce and spread evenly.

  • On one slice of bread, evenly sprinkle the mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese on top of the sauce.

  • Place the sauce side of second piece of bread on top of the cheese to form a sandwich.

  • Cook each side in heated frying pan until the cheese melts and the outside is golden brown.
