1/2 cup low-fat sour cream
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
8 slices light rye bread
1 can (6 ounces) tuna, drained and flaked
2 tablespoons low-fat mayonnaise
4 slices low-fat American cheese
4 tablespoons butter, divided
Combine the sour cream and the garlic salt in a small mixing bowl.
In a separate bowl, combine the tuna and mayonnaise.
Spread the sour cream and garlic mixture on four slices of bread. Then spread the tuna and mayonnaise on the bread.
Top with a slice of cheese and the other slices of bread.
In a skillet over medium heat, melt half of the butter. Cook two sandwiches until the bread has lightly browned and cheese has melted. Repeat with the remaining butter and two sandwiches.
Serve immediately.
