I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. 5/12 Letter by former patient of Nidhi Bansal: At first you told me I shouldn’t be on amaryl. Then my blood sugar went up and you put me back on it. My blood sugar started going so low that I was about to pass out. You changed my amaryl dose, and then didn’t even want to do an A1C after 3 months. I depend on the A1C to know how I’m doing, especially after changing a diabetic med dose. When I have given you a detailed blood sugar record, you barely glanced at it and just handed it right back to me. I’ve been on actos for over a year. You only decreased the dose when I told you my concerns about what I was hearing about bladder cancer. So, I’m still worried about that. My pharmacy had to remind you that I needed to be on an ACEI. You forget my history of illnesses and care. You never hands on examine me. You ask me if my ankles are swollen instead of looking at them and feeling for edema yourself. You even forgot to schedule my colonoscopy. Clearly, you don’t care if I’m alive or dead.
