I wouldn't recommend this doctor. I have had to wait in the exam room every time I have gone on to see him. Once I even had to wait for over 45 minutes. If you need a minor biopsy done, you'll need to schedule another appointment and go back at another time. Oh, and pay ANOTHER co-pay. There are other doctors out there who will perform minor punch biopsies during your visit. I never felt as though my skin checks were very thorough. Aren't they supposed to look all over, including your scalp/in between fingers toes, etc.? This doesn't happen, or at least not with me. Generally, you will need to point out any concerns you have, otherwise he is in and out of the room within 2 minutes. Other's seem to have a better experience so perhaps he was uninterested in my skin concerns thus resulting in my negative experience.

There are others elsewhere who will provide more thorough service. I have recently made a switch and am much happier.

Their office was well organized and clean. I could tell they took time making sure it was presentable. I got an appointment quickly. I've never had to wait too long. They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered.

It is very difficult to get in to see a Dermatologist for the first time here in Arizona, however I was able to get in to see Dr. Thaler within a week and a half which is much shorter than the several month quote from other Dr.'s. I have Systemic Lupus and wanted a Dr. that had been in practice for awhile who may have dealt with the complexities of Lupus as it involves the skin. I think I've found him. Dr. Thaler asked me a lot of questions in an attempt to treat the "whole" person. He asked and answered all questions as it relates to my condition. He suggested specific biopsies as per my condition. He just seemed like a good "old school" doctor, who takes the time to listen ask questions and offer solutions! He as well as the staff have a great temperment which put me at ease right away. My Parents attended the consultation with me and have decided to start going to him as well.

They would never suggest that I buy something that wasn't necessary, and never pressured me. They were always very considerate and professional. When comparing them to others I have visited for the same condition, they are among the best I have seen. They make sure to treat all their clients equally and without favoritism. I've always hated it when I've seen favoritism going on at other places I've visited. It's nice that it doesn't happen here. They always have an immediate answer for me when I call with a question. They would never try to get me to make an appointment unless I really needed one. I was very pleased to see that their equipment was state-of-the-art and well taken care of. It really put me at ease to see that everything was so advanced.
