I was in the hospital for what looked like a TIA, but tests don't support that, so for 20+ years, I have been treated like I'm faking. It takes many months to regain functioning after the episode. It's 100% real, but because they don't know what is happening, I am labeled as a hypochondriac and dismissed. She came into the room and said to the younger/newer doctor, "She doesn't need any of those tests. She has had extensive testing and there is nothing wrong". She is condescending ("There is nothing wrong with you, dear", was her exact statement, verbatim. I'm 53! I have a name and it isn't "dear"! ) and clearly has a superiority complex. Do not go to this provider. Her degree of confidence does not match her ability.
Doctor visited in a life threatening ICU situation. Spent NO time asking or getting to know needs of patient or of the immediate family that was present. Very brief, cursory view of sensitive conditions and needs. Bedside manner was abrupt, abrasive/abusive even somewhat sinister. Fully snap judgements. The doctor's recommendations which were not accepted have since proven very incorrect and dangerous. This doctor should be avoided. I would never, never recommend her to anyone.
They've never used foul language, which has bothered me at some of the other places I've been too. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous. When I arrived for my appointment the friendly staff seemed to be waiting for me. I've been to other places where I had to wait forever after I arrived for my appointment, but not here. I was very impressed. They made sure that their qualifications were obvious. I was confident that I was under the care of a professional.
