They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions. Each visit I had lasted at a minimum 1 and a half hours. The staff is extremely slow and rude. I didn't feel as if I received any help from their office. I had 3 appointments with them and never saw the doctor, only saw his assistant. I suffer from migraines and seizures and they didn't offer any help for my problems.

Prior to making an appointment with Dr. Serano, I had been to other doctors who told me that I was imagining the symptoms, or that I was severely depressed. I was so weak , that I could barely stand, or sit without support. I was hopeful that I could be helped at Highland Neurology. I found Dr. Serano and his staff to be very professional, and patient, which gave me hope. They gave me validation, where others did not. This is very important. I could tell they really care about everyone who visits them. You could tell by the testimonials of other patients in the waiting room. After I had given up hope, Dr. Serano worked with me until he found a solution to my problem. Other places I've visited, seem to give up after they did not have an answer for me the first time, but not here. With Dr. Serano, I was confident that I was under the care of a professional who was committed to healing. Be prepared for a long wait to see the doctor, but he will take as much time with you as he did the other patients. It is important to bring all of your medications with you to your initial visit as well. When other doctors have given up on you, there is still hope with Dr. Serano. I had given up hope, and was resigned to suffer from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome forever, but he gave me back my life. I have had my ups and downs over the years, but he has helped me to bounce back every time. I shall be forever grateful. Dr. Serano and his staff are the best!

They are always polite and never use foul language, which I really appreciate. It's always made me uncomfortable at other places when I've heard them use foul language, but they don't here. I know I can bring my kids, and not worry about it. I love how attentive they are here. Even when notified that they have a personal phone call, they always wait to take it later. Their full attention is always on me and it makes me feel special. I am always so impressed with how quickly my calls are answered here. I am never put on hold for a long time and love knowing that if I have a quick question I won't have to wait a half hour through terrible music to get it answered. This provider has no helpful information available online, apart from their address and phone number. They just have a basic listings page.
