Here is what I think of Dr. David Cooke...I travel 100 mile (1 way) to see him (Total of 200 miles in 1 day!! To me - he is worth the travel time / wear and tear on my car in order to see him - he is that good! He allows me to tell him what is going on and he includes me on what to expect for treatment.
AND - Let's not forget the personnel as well! He has a great group of caring and who has empathy for the patient.
So - what do I think of him??? Only as AWESOME!

Dr Cook was my mom's neurologist and we could not have asked for a better physician, awesome staff. Highly recommend.

I agree with Lost Customer....Dr. Cooke's staff are beyond rude; particularly the lady who answers the phone. Such an attitude. I have been coming to Dr. Cooke for about 7 years and no one ever speaks to me or acknowledges that they even remember me. I only have to go for renewal of meds typically. However, last year I had a relapse for the fist time in 18 years and was hospitalized. His partner, Dr. Riveran(sp?) came to see me and I was so impressed. I would love to transfer over to him but feel uncomfortable doing so.

Their staff is horrible. The only reason I need to visit Dr. Cooke now is to refill my prescription. EVERY time I need a refill, I dread the process. I am currently trying to transfer my prescription to a pharmacy that is closer to my house. The pharmacy told me today they have tried calling Dr. Cooke's office every day for the last week and have heard back. I called them myself and spoke to a lady name Lori Pettit. She gave me the absolute worst attitude for no reason. When I asked why she was speaking to me the way she was, she ignored me and tried to set up my appointment. When I asked what her name was, she only gave me her first name. When I asked for her last name, she hung up on me. Note that I was note being rude in any way. I was just calling to xfer my prescription. I had to call and speak to another individual to get her last name.
On another note, the last time I visited Dr. Cooke, he literally yelled at his nurse in front of me.
