After going to a PA at another facility, and finding that office was not affiliated with our insurance carrier, I made an appointment with Dr. Gano. The office receptionist’s pleasantness continued from the phone appointment to the full payment. Dr. Gano cordially greeted me and listened to my concerns patiently. He examined those areas carefully and made a diagnosis with recommendations. The PA had also done those things at the previously mentioned appointment, but diagnosed two moles as cancerous/pre-cancerous, and stated those should be removed within two weeks. Dr. Gano diagnosed those moles as normal, genetic moles that show up rarely before we are seniors and are not cancerous. The PA wanted to freeze the precancerous areas (6 of them) for $250 each ($1500), then and there. Dr. Gano also gave the same recommendation, but charged less than $200 including the co-pay required! Those are now healing as expected. He recommended follow-up only for problems.

I don't think I have ever been put on hold here for a long time and am so impressed with how quickly all of my questions are answered. There's nothing worse than having to wait on hold for a half an hour just to get someone to talk to you. Their office was one of the quietest, most peaceful places I've ever visited. I was able to relax very easily. I love how attentive they are here. Even when notified that they have a personal phone call, they always wait to take it later. Their full attention is always on me and it makes me feel special.
