Dr Pedro was arrogant and dismissive. Quite egotistical to say the least.
he charged me up front for services that were covered by my insurance and part of his contract to be inclusive. he has no knowledge of what the insurance will pay or what he can legally bill his patient's for. He was also demeaning to his staff. high turn over.

I had just started my freshman year of high school and had just turned 14 a couple months before the school year started. I had made the volleyball team and everything was going smoothly until September 30, 2013. On September 30th, I was at practice just like any other day and we were in spiking lines. I stood back up from retrieving my ball and was spiked in the left rear corner of my head. I thought I was fine until the next day when I went to school when it looked to me like the lights were the sun, everyone was yelling at the top there lungs, and I started forming a headache. When I went to my pediatric doctor, he told me that I had a concussion and that it should only last about 5 days. Well, that didn't happen. After about a month, I went to see a neurologist and by that time I started having some short term memory loss. His resolution to me was to drink coffee for a week. So, after that my pediatric doctor decided that he was going to put me on medication. The first one made me have severe abdominal pain. The second one I was on for about two months until I went to see another neurologist at the Northern Regional Headache Center. That medication made me a complete bitch but also I was either starving, or felt like I was going to explode. After my first appointment at the Northern Regional Headache Center, I thought that I may have finally found someone who can help my headaches. By this point I had, had a headache for about 3 months straight. 3 more months went by before the medication he put me on actually worked and I was up to 60 mg. By august of 2014 I was finally off of all my medications and was headache free. But that didn't last very long. December 6, 2014 I fell down a curved staircase at my house and couldn't move for a couple weeks. I was surprised that the headaches I received from that didn't last long and weren't that intense. January 28, 2015 I was sitting in my seat at jazz band rehearsal looking over my music when I got a stabbing pain through my head from temple to temple which was followed by a headache at a 6 out of ten. That eventually increased to a 7 out of ten. April 2015, I was at a softball game and ran into a chain linked fence full force while trying to catch a pop fly. I had temporary lost feeling in the right side of my body and briefly lost consciousness, and I damaged my radial nerve. A week from that day I passed out at school and the next week came and the same thing happened again. I was transferred to UMASS emergency room and was emitted to stay there Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and leave on that Monday. They said that i have conversion, which is a physical response to a stressful response. While I was there, I had passed out about 13 times. My parents ended up spending a chunk of there time trying to find the right doctor for me and one of my mom's friend's wife had gone to see Dr. Pedro and said he did an amazing job so he recommended for me to go there. Well I'm glad he did. When I first went to see Dr. Pedro, I had, had another headache for about 6 months. What he told me was that I had a rib out of place and that my pulse on the right side of my body and the left side of my body was different. Unlike all the other doctors I had seen, Dr. Pedro didn't put me on medicine which made me happy because there was finally a way for me to heal without medicine. I started doing treatment sessions 3 times a week for about an hour to an hour and a half. This consisted of stimulations because we needed to stimulate the right side of my body in order to stimulate the left side of my brain which was incorrect. I watched a ball go from the right upper side of the screen, diagonally down the the bottom left the of the screen. I also watch horizontal lines go down. I had to stick my right foot in a bucket of hot water and I also had to wear electrodes on the right side of my body. The last thing I did was wear a shoulder and back brace. Though I hated doing so, I had to wear it because my shoulders were rolled forward from my head injury. I basically had to retrain all of the muscles in my neck, shoulders, and back. Eventually, I was upgraded to the "upstairs" as I call. I would still do the simulations downstairs, but would go upstairs to learn how to refocus in a way that helped my body communicate between different body parts like the reaction time between my hands and feet. The end of July, early August came and I was cleared to go slowly back into things because I had been headache free for a little more than a month. About 1 1/2 weeks later I passed out in the middle of band camp. The following week I went on vacation with my family and my headache returned. By the end of the week the intensity was at an 8 out of 10 and even lying down and sleeping hurt, it felt better then anything else. The slightest movement would send stabbing pains through my head more then it already was. When I got home, I immediately started seeing Dr. Pedro again and was soon back to zero. I went from going a couple times a week, to once a week, to once every couple weeks, to once every 3 weeks, and I'm currently at once every month. My name is Alyssa and I am now 16 years old and its only a couple weeks from 2016. In a few months I will be 17 and hopefully will finally, for the first time in a few years, be able to have a birthday without a headache. I've passed out for a total of 18 times. I never though that I would find a doctor who could help me because every other one I went to failed to do so. If I hadn't found Dr. Pedro I wouldn't be in my junior year of high school right now because I wouldn't be able to get out of bed. He's helped me in ways I couldn't have ever imagined. Dr. Pedro is the best doctor I've ever met and recommend him to all. He won't let you down. Most doctors have people call there patients for them, but Dr. Pedro does it himself and will always respond if you have a question. I highly recommend Dr. Pedro and thank you for healing me.

He listened, was compassionate and knowledgeable. He diagnosed my pain source of 6 months (also some pain that I have had for 20 years) where numerous other medical professionals could not. He explained everything to my husband and I and each day is truly concerned and dedicated to my progress to not only relieve my pain but heal the cause. He has given me hope to get my life back and so far has proved that I will be healed and pain free. I would recommend him to anyone who has had head trauma or chronic pain.

Amazing doctor who cured me after a two year battle with Post-Concussion Syndrome. He listened to everything I was telling him and he made sure I understood how every part of treatment worked in relation to my symptoms. I have been out of treatment for a couple of months and he still checks in to make sure everything is going well.

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Pedro. His CIT, Cortical Integrative Therapy, gave me my daughter back. He was the only one who was able to help my daughter w/debilitating concussion symptoms. After his treatment she is symptom free and beginning to live her life again.
