I'm not sure if the treatments work or not because I chose not to have them. I felt that Dr. Hathaway was not forthcoming with all the financial disclosures and costs involved and that he deliberately misled me on what would be covered. Only after convincing me to get X-rays, which Medicare doesn't cover, and THEN getting an MRI, which medicare DOES cover, I was told that treatments would be covered by medicare. After the MRI was done and after I paid $400 for the X-rays that seemed unnecessary due to the MRI as well, I was then told it would cost me upward of $15,000 for the treatments. When asked why I was told that Medicare would cover the treatments (which I was assured numerous times by him) I was told that medicare ONLY covered chiropractic adjustments, NOT his treatments. I feel that this was misleading and a deliberate practice to get payments for the X-rays regardless of whether I agreed to the treatments after the fact. I could not trust a doctor who seems devious to me, regardless of how good or not his treatments are.

Dr. Bill Hathaway is the best Chiropractor I've ever been to see. Not only did he cure my headache problem over the course of a couple of months, he also cured my husband's lower back pain. While not cheap, he is worth every penny when you get such good results. I strongly recommend him to everyone who has back or neck pain--or headaches.
