I began seeing Deborah Kauffmann at a point in my life when I knew I needed to change. A drastic change. And I would have never been able to do it alone!

She has helped me usher in a new way of thinking and eating. I had been on the diet bandwagon for so, so long I couldn't even tell you what/when I was hungry, not to mention being so "brain-washed" by our culture on what we are supposed to look like. Unraveling the many "should's" was a challenge and letting go of the diet mentality was tricky but Debb is relentless in her pursuit to help and educate and she has helped me so much. I am profoundly grateful to her for helping me through all this. Her professionalism is top notch and her wisdom is much needed especially in this weight-obsessed society.
She is committed to me and my healing and went above and beyond, talking to my Doctor and working with my therapist as well. She is always open and honest, I felt extremely safe with her and she has really helped me develop trust in myself again. I cannot recommend her enough.

She wasn't very helpful and for the money that I paid and it certainly wasn't worth it to see her. I saw her 5 times and each time she gave me 2-3 tidbits of advice, some of which I already was doing/knew. Much of the advice could have been delivered in the 1st or 2nd appt and I don't know why she was dragging things out. In 3 months I lost no weight, following her advice, which actually wasn't that different to how I'd already been eating as I had a good sense of nutrition coming in. I do not recommend her. Oh, and she doesn't accept insurance, so it's a little harder to swallow the money that I put out for little in return.
