They styled my hair the way I asked. It looked fantastic. I couldn't believe how knowledgeable and well-informed the staff was. They were able to answer all my questions, except the ones they needed to have their boss's input on. It was great to be able to talk to such a skilled staff. The restrooms at this office were spotless. It smelled amazing in there and looked immaculate. They always made sure that I wasn't in any pain.

As soon as I walked through the door, I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. They went out of their way to make me feel special and appreciated. I always have the best experience every time I have an appointment here. Although I have not had much to complain about, I have noticed that they strongly adhere to the customer is always right policy and if anything goes wrong make every effort to correct the situation. The oil they used during my massage was absolutely fantastic. It looked and felt very expensive, and it smelled amazing. They never have that typical, annoying music playing here. If they do play music it is soothing and appropriate for the setting. It was easy to get the appointment time that worked for my schedule.

Do not get permanent makeup by Malih. I have just had my eyeliners done by Malih yesterday. It was a biggest mistake in my life. The reason I went there was when I looked at her website http://www.cosmospa.com, it said that she had over 20 years experience. So I did not doubt her, and I called her to asking for price. She offered me to do permanent eyeliners for $295.00 (upper & lower, I paid $300.00) I thought it was pretty cheap than other places and she kept urging me to not go to other places. Somehow, I made an appointment with her at 4:00 pm on July 22, 2009.

When I got there, there was a little form that I have to confirm about payment method, prefer color, here for touch-up or new shape, and no money refund and a blank for my signature. It was very different from what I have experienced for permanent makeup in Vacaville two years ago. Because normally other salons provide some paper sheets to new clients such as, consent to procedure, permanent cosmetic makeup pre-procedure information, homecare instructions, healing schedules, and general information. But I did not see those forms. She explained the shape that she is going to procedure in shortly. She said my eyes, nose and lip are very small so the almond shape would be good for my eyes.

Malih put ointment on my eyelids to anesthetize. When my eyes got numb, she started to touch-up my eyelids with a machine needle. It was so painful. It took about 30 minutes to get done. When I looked at the mirror the result was not totally what I was expected. Oh my gosh! There were spots under my left eye, both uppers and lowers are not clean lines and uneven sizes of my both eyes. She kept saying, "You are beautiful." She was rushing me to be happy. I was not happy with my results.

By the time my husband was waiting outside inside the car, I came out of the salon very unhappy. Me and my husband decided to go back inside and asked her to fix my eyeliners again. Then she put some more ink on my left eye and she said she can give me a retouch-up for free after a week.

I did not get any information from her except avoid the sun.

What kind of place is this?

Today, I decided to go ask other professional permanent makeup artist near where I live (Harmony Beauty Spa Center, Which is located in Pinole,CA) Thankfully, she did not charge me for consultation fee. As soon as the artist looked at me, she asked me where did I have my eyes done, and my eyes look so awful. The bruises on my eyes are normal, but eyeliners are not okay. It seems like my eyeliners have been done by a beginner. She also said I have to wait a week until the skin peels on my eyelids. If the ink spot does not go away, I might have to see a doctor. It costs over $800.00 for spot removal under eye.

Malih is really incompetent. Earnestly, I wish her exfoliate her permanent makeup license by the board,. I am really sad with my result, and it hurts me mentally, emotionally and physically.

The bottom line is that DO NOT GO THIS SALON for permanent makeup.
