Gold's Gym, now Prime Fitness, is a good gym if you are interested in really working out to improve your health and/or appearance. I have been a member for over a year and have always found the staff members, trainers and even other members very helpful and extremely friendly. I will recommend Prime Fitness to anyone who is serious about using physical exercise to improve his or her life. In fact, at my suggestion, my employer just recently signed up for a Corporate Membership and Prime Fitness now has five new members and each one of them is really enjoying what Prime Fitness has to offer.

This review is in response to Someone who "Works Out" and Leslie. Obviously neither one of you have ever been to a decent gym, where ALL of the equipment is in working order. Leslie, seriously, are you kidding me, the machines are old and falling apart. The reason why people do not have to wait around to use them is because they don't have any members, besides you two. I agree with Chris, this gym is in very bad shape, and poorly ran. The machines are out of date, and the front desk staff aren't always the friendliest.

REALLY, Chris? Try again.
The machines are clean and in very good shape. People do not have to wait around to use them, either; there are plenty.
I especially enjoy the coaching from class instructors. They are highly trained, caring, and fun. Furthermore, many of them have "been there" weight issues. They are not elitists.
For real, try again.

This is a response to the first review. It's a GYM! If you want a spa go to one! I have been to plenty of high end gyms and yes they had all the fluff, BUT no one ever offers help or knowledge. I personally love the fact that you can ask ANYONE there and they will help you or find someone that will. This is a great family oriented "gym"

This place has become Prime Fitness and is a real dump. I guess they let it go so bad that golds made them take there name off of it. All the equipment is old, a lot of it torn, the a/c barely works so its always hot. Floors look dirty and the soap dispensers are all broke off the wall. Many of the trainers that work there throw the weights on the ground when there done when there are signs all over that say do not drop the weights.
