Dr. Roya is amazing. I have had severe allergies and asthma through out my life and it has gotten progressively worse in the last year, making it extremely difficult to breathe after eating many types of different foods.

I found out about the NAET system and booked an appointment with another person that works with this system in San Diego. It was a pretty bad experience and I was bummed out. I then tried Dr. Roya which I found through an acquaintance and it has been life changing in such a short time. After 5 treatments I noticed a big difference and now after 13, my asthma has been reduced by approximately 50%. It has amazing to not feel like a fish out of water. I am looking forward to going through the full program and being able to breathe once again.

Dr Roya and her staff is extremely professional and she is passionate with what she does. She is a true healer and I would recommend her highly.

I went to Roya when my annual summer eczema on my fingers turned into raging eczema up to my elbows. She immediately started me on a detox program, and the eczema was completely gone in about six weeks. It has been over a year since my skin cleared up and the rash has not returned. I have also adjusted my diet to include more fermented foods and fewer grains and sugars, which is helping me to maintain my general health, although I still drink coffee and wine every day. I had given up trying to give blood 'cause my iron levels were always too low, but the other day I passed the hemoglobin test (14.9!) and was able to give blood for the first time in 3 years, woohoo! I am very grateful for Roya's treatment, the eczema was driving me crazy but all the dermatologist could do was prescribe steroid cream and advise me to use Cetaphil (lame). I highly recommend Dr. Roya Niksad.

No. It was a calm appointment.

Absolutely! You can tell that he/she really makes an effort to look professional

There is no comparison!

Not at all, they had plenty of staff members to help me whenever I needed assistance

Dr. Roya Nikzad is AMAZING!!! Her treatments are unparalleled to any western medicine you can get. We learned my daughter had eczema when she was about 4 months old. She had rash all over her body, she was uncomfortable sleeping all night long. I picked her up from daycare one day and during her nap she had scratched the side of her face raw. When I took her in to see her pediatrician I was told that there is nothing that can really be done other than a prescription grade hydrocortizone cream, and antibiotic to prevent infection on her face, and "hope she grows out of it". Because I have asthma, I was told that it was something she had inherited from that and most likely she will have asthma when she gets older too. At that point, I refused to just hide the problem and cover my daughter in steroid treatment and "hope" she grows out of it. I did some researched on eczema and allergy treatment and was so lucky to find Dr. Nikzad located in La Jolla. I spoke with Dr. Nikzad over the phone, and she was confident she could help my daughter. I put my trust in the Dr., and from that point on, my daughters condition improved SIGNIFICANTLY! My daughter is now almost 2 years old and I put a specific body lotion all over her daily and rarely have to put steroid cream on her at all! Dr. Nikzad is a miracle worker, I can't explain why or how, other than IT WORKS!!!! I would HIGHLY recommend her for babies, children, and/or adults! Since then my mom has seen her and a good friend of mine with major allergy problems and Dr. Nikzad has improved their quality of life greatly!!!!

I was not a believer in acupuncture, actually i was probably the biggest skeptic ever. After one visit to Dr. Nikzad's office I could see why there was a one week wait time before I could see her.

All my fears were put to bed after the first needle went in. I suffer from pollen allergies and fall is the worst for me. After taking some supplements and 2 sessions I had no need to take a Zyrtec or Claritin again. I would highly recommend Dr. Nikzad to anyone. Great and friendly service!!!

The bathrooms alone were enough to make me rethink coming to my appointment. They looked as though they had never been cleaned. Most offices keep the thermostat pumping too much cold air, but this office was perfect. I never got cold or hot, which is always a concern of mine. I did not feel safe with this acupuncturist. I was scared that something was going to go wrongdue to the fact that Cassie was the name of the girl who helped me, She was incredibly RUDE, and me simply asking for a sign in sheet seemed like I was asking for a loan, she didn't seem to care about her job very much. Now that I think about it, she was probably the one in charge of cleaning the restroom. The entire visit felt like an episode of The Twilight Zone.. and I don't think I will be showing up for my next appointment.

They always make an extra effort to make me feel respected and attended to. They always listen to every question or concern I may have. They had a huge selection of magazines in the waiting room. I was able to find some of my favorites and they kept me entertained while I was waiting for my appointment. They were one of the kindest, most caring staff I've ever dealt with. It didn't matter how many times I called with a question or concern, they were always happy to help me. They were so kind and attentive to me. I didn't have to worry about them arguing with me, or contradicting what I had to say, which has been a problem for me at other places. I knew I was getting top-of-the-line treatment when they told me about what they learned at the latest conference they attended, and how they were incorporating that knowledge into the practice.
